IPL Second Qualifier on Sunday: Mumbai Indians vs Punjab Kings

The second qualifier match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) will be played on Sunday. Mumbai Indians, who have won the IPL five times, will face Punjab Kings, who have never won the title, for a place in the final. Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) have already reached the final.

There are some interesting similarities between the two teams. Mumbai's captain Hardik Pandya will go up against Punjab's captain Shreyas Iyer, and the match will also be a key battle between fast bowlers Jasprit Bumrah (Mumbai) and Arshdeep Singh (Punjab), both known for their bowling in the middle overs.

Earlier this week, Punjab defeated Mumbai to qualify for the first qualifier.

Punjab’s explosive batting lineup has already scored over 200 runs in 15 innings this season. In contrast, Mumbai have six top-order batters with international experience, and only one without it. Mumbai had a slow start to the tournament but made a strong comeback after star bowler Jasprit Bumrah returned from injury.

Once again, Bumrah’s 4 overs are expected to play a big role. Meanwhile, Yuzvendra Chahal might return to the Bangalore squad for the final on Sunday.
